External Funding

External funding refers to financial assistance for your graduate studies and research from sources outside Texas State University. These awards are commonly disbursed as fellowships, scholarships, and grants.

Who Should Apply?

External funding is generally based on merit, not financial need, and is typically tied to you, your discipline, or your research project.
